There are three ways to play golf indoors near Kalamazoo: hit real balls at the Kalsee Dome in Schoolcraft (31 heated stations, $16 for 30 minutes, 70 yards of ball flight), book a Trackman simulator suite (two at the Kalsee Dome from $20 per 30 minutes, four at V's Bogeys & Stogies on W Q Ave), or play a simulator lounge like X-Golf Kalamazoo on W Main St ($40–$60 per hour per bay). The dome is the only option where you see your actual ball fly.
Prices below are per the venue's published rates in October 2026. Simulator prices are per bay or suite, so a group splits them; the dome range is per person.
| Venue | What it is | Price | From Kalamazoo |

| Kalsee Dome indoor range | 31 heated stations on two levels, real ball flight to 70 yards, putting green | $16 / 30 min · $26 / hour · no tee time | 20 min (Schoolcraft, US-131) |
| Kalsee Dome Trackman suites | Two Trackman suites (Pebble Beach, St. Andrews), up to 4 golfers | $20 / 30 min weekdays before 4 PM · $25 after 4 · $30 weekends | 20 min |

| V's Bogeys & Stogies, 7117 W Q Ave | Four Trackman simulators, cigar lounge, hourly and key-card membership | $50–$70 listed (as published Oct 2026; confirm on their site) | Texas Township |
You want to hit a real ball. Only the dome does this. A simulator reads your swing and draws the shot; the dome lets you watch a driver carry 70 yards and land, which is what most golfers mean by "practice." A bucket-style session is $16 for 30 minutes and there is no booking: walk in, pay at the desk, take an open station.
You want numbers. Trackman is the launch monitor the tour uses, and both the Kalsee Dome and V's run it. You see carry, ball speed, spin, launch angle and club path on every shot, play famous courses, or set up closest-to-the-pin games. Suites rent per suite, so four golfers splitting an hour at the dome pay $10 each on a weekday afternoon.
You want a night out. X-Golf is built as a lounge: six bays, a full bar and kitchen, leagues and events. Expect $40–$60 an hour per bay and book ahead on weekends.
You play a lot. The dome's Play Your Way membership is $69/mo through Oct 31 ($89/mo after) for unlimited range time plus 60 Trackman minutes and four pickleball court hours a month. Two range visits a week pays for it.
Locals call it the golf dome, and that is what it was built as: an air-supported dome 65 feet high and 70 yards long off US-131 in Schoolcraft, 15 minutes south of Portage. Inside are 31 heated hitting stations on a lower level and a mezzanine, a practice putting green, two Trackman suites and, in the same building, the turf, courts and cages that Next Level Sports Center runs its youth programs on. Outdoor driving and target ranges open in season.
Front desk and walk-in play Mon–Fri 9 AM – 4 PM; leagues, programs, open gyms and booked court or suite time run evenings and weekends by schedule. Club sets rent for $10 if you did not bring yours. Address: 12733 US-131, Schoolcraft, MI 49087, free parking.
If the golfer is under 15, the dome runs winter junior programs on the same range and suites: Start Up golf for ages 5–9 ($279, Tue & Thu 4:00–5:00 PM) and Level Up for ages 10–14 ($379), Winter I from Nov 17. Clubs are provided. X-Golf also offers junior lessons through its PGA pro.
